Job summary

Cincinnati Eye Institute in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact and set the tone for patient visits. You will handle check-in/out and perform essential administrative duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires delivering excellent customer service, managing phone calls, handling payments, and supporting office operations. Full-time position with standard clinic hours and occasional scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone). Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
• Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times
• Practice urgency at all times with patients' time, as well as Doctor's time and schedule
• Manage patient flow in the office
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
• General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
