The role emphasizes coaching, data-informed improvement, and collaboration across the UW Health system. It requires a bachelor’s degree and healthcare experience, with a preference for a master’s degree and experience in patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, health care, or related field Required.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or other health related field Preferred.
  • 2 years of healthcare experience with at least one (1) year of patient experience focus Required.
  • 1 year of experience performing process improvement/coaching, patient/customer relations, or management experience Required.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking by engaging partners to deliver remarkable patient experience.
  • Educate and coach patient experience best practices across the system.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional improvement work across the system using patient experience data.

Patient Experience Consultant (Finance)
Work Schedule

100%, day shift working Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid position with a homebase at 7974 UW Health Court, Middleton, WI, but may need to cover other UW Health hospital sites. You will work a minimum of one day per month on-site but up to five days on-site per month based on the needs of the department.

  • Foster a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking as you engage partners in delivering remarkable patient experience.
  • Build trusting partnerships across the system as you educate, and coach patient experience best practices.
  • Establish trust in leading and participating in cross functional improvement work across the system.
  • Utilize patient experience data to help inform improvement work.
