UPMC is seeking a Patient Services Representative at our Wexford, PA outpatient practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect payments, and support daily operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate medical terminology and health records systems in a fast-paced environment. Full-time hours, on-site position.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of medical, billing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with health records systems (Epic/Medipac) preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills required.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors and provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Schedule appointments and assist with registration and insurance verification.
• Collect copays and payments at point of service and verify/update patient information.
• Assist with administrative duties such as scanning records and handling calls to route to appropriate areas.
• Support navigation of the MyUPMC portal and patient resources as needed.
