Job summary

ImageCare Radiology in New Jersey is hiring a Full-Time Greeter to welcome patients and oversee the waiting area. You will assist with door entry and guide elderly patients with iPads during check-in, while collaborating with staff to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and a service-oriented attitude in a healthcare setting. Training provided; Monday–Friday schedule with alternating Saturdays in an outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with the elderly.
• Comfortable using iPads or tablets to assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients entering the waiting room.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable waiting room and calming atmosphere.
• Open doors for patients, especially for elderly or mobility-challenged individuals.
• Assist patients with navigating iPads for check-in and queries.
• Address immediate needs and keep patients informed about next steps.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other related duties as required.
