Job summary

Boston Center for Plastic Surgery is seeking an energetic, patient-focused front desk administrator in Massachusetts. You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and process payments in a high-end clinic environment.

The role requires excellent communication, outstanding customer service, and comfort with practice software. Prior medical terminology knowledge is a plus; multitasking in a team setting is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED at minimum; college degree encouraged
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Some office and/or retail experience preferred
• Clinical knowledge of aesthetic and/or medical terminology (preferred)
• Basic computer systems such as Microsoft and Google suites, as well as scheduling/organizing software (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming phone calls and triage to appropriate team members
• Schedule existing patient appointments
• Become expert in practice software for communications and scheduling
• Greet patients for in-person appointments, check-in/check-out
• Complete super-bills for non-surgical services and take payments
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide reminders
• Keep waiting room tidy and welcoming
• Explain instructions to patients after appointments
• Assist in general office duties
