Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Access Associate in our clinic to greet patients, schedule and check in for visits, and verify demographics and insurance with accuracy and care. You’ll help patients feel welcomed, informed, and supported in a fast-paced setting.

You will also register patients, explain financial responsibility, and collect payments when appropriate while collaborating with providers and clinic staff to keep the day running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and by phone.
• Schedule and check in patients for clinic visits.
• Register patients and verify insurance and demographics.
• Scan documents and verify coverage.
• Explain financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate.
