You will be the primary contact at the Patient Services Desk, handling check-ins, inquiries, and logistics under the Safety and Emergency Manager's guidance. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, remains calm in emergencies, and upholds HIPAA privacy.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills.
• Superior customer service and phone etiquette with the ability to relate effectively to a variety of customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and work independently in a fast paced environment with constant interruptions.
• Must have the ability to communicate and interpret information in terms the patient or visitor can understand.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in regard to all information acquired in the course of performing the job.
• Able to perform effectively in emergency and stressful situations.

• Front-Line Reception & Navigation: Served as the primary point of contact for the facility, providing warm, prompt greetings and escorting patients and visitors to their destinations across the campus.
• Information & Communication Management: Managed high-volume phone lines, internal paging, and mail/delivery distribution while providing critical telephone support during emergency situations.
• Patient & Visitor Liaison: Acted as a central resource for patients, staff, and vendors by verifying appointment details, answering inquiries, and coordinating outside transportation and lodging requests.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Promoted organizational efficiency by fostering strong interdepartmental communication and assisting in the orientation of new staff members regarding HIPAA compliance and privacy protocols.
• Operational Excellence: Maintained a highly organized and efficient Patient Services Desk, ensuring a superior customer experience through professional, courteous, and accurate service delivery.
