Confluent Health System Solutions, a member of the Confluent Health family, is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team in Decatur, GA. The role is the first voice and face patients encounter, setting the tone for a warm, organized, and professional experience from the initial call through every visit.

You will manage front desk operations including check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient payments while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a medical front desk or similar setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, scheduling systems, EMRs, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Ensure patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays and other payments accurately and reconcile as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all interactions.
