Job summary

LifeStance Health is hiring a Medical Services Coordinator to serve as the point of contact for coordinating medical care, supporting patients and clinicians, and ensuring quality service for in-person and remote patients.

The role involves handling administrative tasks, communications across care teams, and coordinating referrals, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant, compassionate customer service. A 1+ year healthcare operations background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; associates/bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive work environment; support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities to promote LFST culture, engagement, and connection.
• Provide strong customer service; respond quickly to patient needs and manage potentially difficult or emotional situations.
• Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care and clinician satisfaction.
• Assist psychiatric clinicians with administrative tasks such as letters and faxes.
• Coordinate with clinicians regarding patient questions.
• Assist in termination processes for patients as needed (termination letter, external referral, AMD status, etc.).
• Support clinicians with administrative duties and questions.
