Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, invites applicants for a Patient Support Ambassador role. You will ensure compassionate tray delivery, explain FANS procedures to new patients, and uphold ALWAYS and Code of Conduct while coordinating with nurses and dietitians.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a restaurant, hotel, hospital or concierge/guest services preferred.
Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Represent FANS in an exemplary manner by adhering to ALWAYS and Code of Conduct.
Provide timely tray delivery service to all assigned patients on their units.
Explain FANS procedures to new patients.
Actively resolve customer and/or guest concerns in a timely manner.
Follow established safety, HACCP, and infection control policies and procedures.
Communicate with members of the healthcare team, including nurses and dietitians.
Effectively train new Hosts/Hostesses on relevant AM and PM duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
