Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, invites applicants for a Patient Support Ambassador role. You will ensure compassionate tray delivery, explain FANS procedures to new patients, and uphold ALWAYS and Code of Conduct while coordinating with nurses and dietitians.

• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a restaurant, hotel, hospital or concierge/guest services preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Represent FANS in an exemplary manner by adhering to ALWAYS and Code of Conduct.
• Provide timely tray delivery service to all assigned patients on their units.
• Explain FANS procedures to new patients.
• Actively resolve customer and/or guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Follow established safety, HACCP, and infection control policies and procedures.
• Communicate with members of the healthcare team, including nurses and dietitians.
• Effectively train new Hosts/Hostesses on relevant AM and PM duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
