Job summary

Tanner is seeking a Patient Experience Representative for the Day shift in a part-time capacity. The role focuses on proactively improving the patient experience, resolving concerns in real time, and coordinating service recovery across nursing and medical staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of guest-facing hospitality experience, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and a commitment to confidentiality. A valid driver's license is required, and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience involving guest interaction, satisfaction, and hospitality.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital systems, operations, locations and departments relating to patient care.
• Knowledge of Patient Rights & Responsibilities, Joint Commission standards, and centers for Medicare Medicaid regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive verbal and written information
• Working knowledge of windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline advocate for patients, families and caregivers.
• Identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and resolve concerns in real time.
• Coordinate service recovery efforts and connect patients with resources to remove barriers to care.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and leadership to address concerns promptly.
• Support initiatives related to patient satisfaction and continuous improvement through Tanner Excellence System.
