Job summary

GW Hospital, part of Horizon Health Corporation, seeks a Patient Advocate to serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the hospital to address concerns, complaints, and grievances promptly and compassionately.

You will investigate feedback, coordinate resolutions, and promote a culture of patient-centered care, working with interdisciplinary teams to improve service quality and patient experience across the GW Hospital system.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1-2 years' service recovery experience or experience with complaint/grievance management.

Responsibilities

• Investigate feedback, facilitate resolution, and promote patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Physicians, Quality, Risk Management and Administration to ensure regulatory compliance and effective resolution of patient concerns.
• Support organizational patient experience initiatives through staff education, service recovery coaching, and data-driven opportunities for improvement.
