Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in a courteous, professional manner.
• Investigate complaints per hospital policy and escalate appropriately.
• Document data into the grievance database timely.
• Conduct daily proactive rounds on units to address concerns.
• Provide information on patient rights and advance directives.
• Refer potential quality or risk issues to Quality and Risk Management.
• Collaborate with care teams to resolve patient/family concerns.
