Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree required.
• Previous work experience interfacing with public, customer service or related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Three years current healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries, complaints, suggestions and compliments from customers to ensure satisfaction with the resolution.
• Thoroughly researches issues and communicates outcomes to patients/families.
• Interprets the Patient Bill of Rights, advance directives and hospital policies for patients/families.
• Reports identified safety issues and medical errors to appropriate staff.
• Visits patients during daily rounds and follows up with customers when they are not satisfied with care or services.
