Copley Hospital is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist - Tier II (Call Center) to support Mansfield Orthopaedics in Morrisville, VT. The role emphasizes courteous patient interactions, pre-registration, appointment scheduling, and coordination with clinicians to ensure smooth outpatient access.

This full-time (PT available) position offers various shifts across full-time, part-time, and per diem needs, with a pay rate of $22.39-$28.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office as an administrative assistant, scheduler, or similar function.
• Excellent telephone etiquette; organized; good follow-up abilities.
• Able to put patients at ease and establish rapport; comfortable with multitasking; some computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Answering calls promptly and courteously (within 3 rings).
• Register patients for Time of Service and handle related financial paperwork.
• Determine and collect patient co-payments and issue receipts; verify cash with 100% accuracy.
• Obtain and verify patient information for pre-registration; confirm appointments.
• Schedule special diagnostic tests and communicate with providers, testing services, and patients.
• Schedule appointments, input data in EMR, collect payments, and resolve scheduling issues.
• Process and reconcile patient charges prior to posting to accounts; handle non-patient paperwork.
