Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Engagement Pharmacy Technician for our Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY. You will handle prescription order entry, insurance processing, and patient outreach to coordinate fulfillment and delivery.

In a high-volume centralized call center setting, you will support pharmacists and coordinate with caregivers, ensuring timely communication and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician registration must be completed with KY Board of Pharmacy by date of hire (no testing; only application and fee).
• Previous retail, mail order, central/call center pharmacy work experience highly preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and adjudicate prescription orders for centralized specialty and home delivery prescriptions.
• Process prescriptions and coordinate delivery with patients and/or caregivers.
• Resolve insurance issues and communicate anticipated prescription delays to patients.
• Use dispensing software to perform administrative duties and synchronize patient refills.
• Serve as primary contact with patients for fulfillment needs and escalate clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Collaborate with central pharmacy dispensing team to coordinate services.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in team meetings.
