Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist for the Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY. You will fill orders, handle receiving and repackaging, and support distribution under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include inventory management, auditing, and maintaining medication security, with training in pharmacy automation and adherence to federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hospital or central pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire if not currently registered.
• Compliance with safety and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Fill inventory replenishment orders for hospitals, clinics, and affiliates.
• Handle medication receiving, scanning, repackaging, distribution, and packing.
• Perform audits, contribute to shipping, and maintain security of medications.
• Support pharmacy automation systems and perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Train new staff and assist with workflow improvements to reduce waste.
