Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician for our new Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY. This role supports prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and collaboration with the central call center to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities include operating within safety standards, assisting with pharmacy automation, and training new staff while escalating complex issues to a pharmacist as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician registration with KY Board of Pharmacy by date of hire if not already registered.
• National PTP certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Previous retail/mail order/call center pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill prescriptions for centralized specialty and home delivery under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy automation systems and comply with state/federal regulations.
• Perform nonsterile compounding under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage cold chain and room temperature packaging requirements.
• Support inventory management including order review, receiving, and restocking.
• Coordinate with onsite call center to resolve prescription issues and escalate when needed.
