Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a door attendant to assist patients and guests with mobility and directions. You will help transport patients, manage traffic, and support valet operations while maintaining a courteous, safe environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and good communication skills. Shifts are varied and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays at our Rochester campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and human relation skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttles or taxis.
• Provide directions, mobility assistance and respond to common questions from guests.
• Transport patients and belongings, and monitor taxi and courtesy vehicle movements.
• Support valet operations and sanitize equipment used to assist patients.
• Help manage traffic in drive-up lanes to ensure safety for all.
