Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate for full-time shifts at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. The role focuses on assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring safety and quality in meal service.

Requirements include 2 years of customer service experience. The position offers a $15.00/hour pay rate plus full-time benefits; schedule may include weekends and holidays.

Competenze

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.

Mansioni

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure meals meet nutrition requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor patients who cannot eat orally and assist dietitians as needed.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
