Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu options for patients with allergies, preferences, or restrictions.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation of work areas.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets when needed.
• Communicate issues with patients to appropriate staff promptly.
