Job summary

BayCare Health System in Lutz, FL is seeking a part-time Food Services Representative to join the Food and Nutrition Services team at St Josephs North. You will provide food service to patients, guests and staff while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

You may prepare food or drinks, assemble and deliver patient trays or cater events, and perform daily dish and area cleaning. You will receive and store deliveries using FIFO and act as liaison among patients, physicians and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred – HS Diploma or GED (not required)
• 6 months in food services or customer service (not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• Prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
