Job summary

Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital is seeking staff for a PRN food service role. You may perform patient meal tray assembly, cashier, food prep, serving, and cleaning, with shifts across 6:30am to 12am.

The role offers cross-training opportunities across kitchen areas and a pay rate of $17.68–$22.99 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities include tray delivery, standard recipe prep, dining experience maintenance, and basic customer service resolution.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit (required).
• One year of cashier, food service or patient experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Prepares salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit following standard recipes.
• Maintains dining experience and stock levels within Nutrition Services.
• Performs housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Handles cash/credit transactions and resolves basic customer service issues.
• Coordinates with team to support different kitchen areas and shifts.
