Job summary

Intermountain Health in Sandy, Utah is seeking a dedicated food service team member to support patient meal tray assembly and delivery, food preparation, and cashier duties in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with shifts including 7:00am–3:30pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm and requires work every other weekend. Pay ranges from $17.68 to $22.99 per hour based on experience, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit required.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, food service or patient service preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (e.g. salads, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit).
• Maintains stock levels and follows nutrition service standards for dining experience.
• Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties and handles cash/credit transactions per system standards.
