Job summary

Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital is seeking a PRN food service associate to deliver patient trays, assist with food prep, and perform cashier duties. The role requires flexibility to cover weekends and holidays, with on-call shifts and a pay range of $17.68–$22.99 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting Nutrition Services, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring accurate cash transactions while delivering quality patient service.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work.
• One or more year of experience in customer service, food service or patient service (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (e.g. salad, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit).
• Follows standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (dining experience, meal delivery, stock levels).
• Performs housekeeping duties including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Processes cash/credit transactions accurately and resolves basic customer service issues.
