Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service preparation methods and practices.
• Knowledge of food nutrition and dietary recommendations.
• Ability to perform data entry and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate menu selections for patients using NDS software and process.
• Assist patients with meal selections respecting diet prescriptions and preferences.
• Deliver trays and supplies to patients and service areas as scheduled.
• Set up and service lines, and assist with catering functions.
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash transactions.
• Serve customers in retail, physician and catering operations.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; maintain stock levels.
• Orient and train new staff as needed.
