• Knowledge of food nutrition, specialized diets and dietary recommendations.
• Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of hot and cold food or beverage items; may operate cash systems.
• Prepare hot foods according to menu plans and may serve grill items to order.
• Receive, store and distribute food, supplies and equipment; check orders and sign invoicing.
• Rotate stock and assist in conducting physical inventory to support purchasing.
• Deliver nourishments and tube feedings to nursing units as scheduled.
• Set up service lines and related food supplies for meals and catered events.
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash; support trayline operations as directed.
• Assist in and accurately prepare food for cafeteria and catering activities.
