Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Nutrition and Dining Services Technician II to support food production, patient meal service, and cafeteria operations. You will interact with patients, assist with menu selections per diet prescriptions, and help ensure dietary guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include stocking, cash handling, dishwashing, setting up catering events, delivering trays, and training new staff.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of food service preparation methods and practices.
• Knowledge of food nutrition, specialized diets and dietary recommendations.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications relevant to work functions.
• Ability to perform standard clerical and accounting tasks including data entry and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with menu selections according to diet prescriptions.
• Coordinate menu selections using NDS software.
• Set up, serve, and supply service lines and catering events.
• Deliver designated trays and nourishments to patients or locations as scheduled.
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash with transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Orient and train new staff members on procedures and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
