Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at MUSC Health Florence is hiring immediately for full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide). Location: Florence, SC. Schedule: 6:30 am to 7:30 pm, with rotating weekends.

Prior customer service and food handling experience preferred. As part of the care team, you will assist patients with menu selections, assemble, deliver and retrieve meal trays, and ensure meals meet nutritional requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with HIPAA and health regulations.
• Assist dietitians and communicate concerns to staff.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Maintain sanitation per HACCP and infection control policies.
