Job summary

OhioHealth in Mansfield, OH seeks a patient nourishment associate within Nutrition Services. You will help patients select meals, assemble, deliver and retrieve trays, ensuring meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.

You will interact with patients, visitors and staff to meet service standards, keep work areas clean, stock stations, and use department software to print labels and update diet orders.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma is required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18.
• 16– and 17-year-olds may be considered with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, distributes and retrieves meal trays for patients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintains clear communications with dietitians, nursing and OhioHealth associates.
• Interacts professionally with patients, visitors and staff to meet service standards.
• Cleans and stocks work stations and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Uses computer systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments and diet order changes.
• Prepares and delivers nourishments, floor stocks, late trays and records temperatures.
