Job summary

OhioHealth Nutrition Services is seeking a patient-focused team member to ensure meal trays are prepared, delivered, and retrieved accurately for each patient. You will coordinate with dietitians, nursing staff, and associates to ensure diet orders are followed and patient satisfaction is maximized.

With 40 hours per week and no degree required, this role emphasizes reliability, clear communication, and a caring approach within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• At least 6 months healthcare/food service experience.
• Able to handle nourishment distribution and diet orders.

Responsibilities

• Serve and retrieve patient meal trays promptly.
• Communicate with dietitians, nursing staff and OhioHealth associates.
• Interact with patients and visitors to meet service standards.
• Stock stations and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use department computer systems to enter preferences and print reports.
• Deliver nourishments and record refrigerator temperatures.
• May be assigned to assist in other areas of the department.
