Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services assistant to support patient meals in our care environment. You will assemble, deliver and retrieve meal trays, ensuring accuracy, timing, and patient safety as part of the caregiving team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with dietitians and nursing staff, maintaining station cleanliness, entering preferences in software, and preparing nourishments with attention to temperature control.

Qualifications

• Interacts professionally with patients, visitors and staff to meet service standards.
• Assists in meal ordering, assembly, delivery and tray retrieval.
• Maintains accurate communications with dietitians, nursing and OhioHealth associates.
• Assists with station cleanliness and stocking in nutrition services.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient meal orders and ensure trays are assembled and delivered on time.
• Meet patient satisfaction goals through accurate meal service.
• Stock and clean work stations and kitchen areas.
• Use department software to enter preferences and print reports.
• Prepare nourishments, floor stocks, and record temperatures of unit refrigerators.
