Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Assemble meals accurately from patient orders and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and HIPAA policies; maintain safety and sanitation practices.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets or special calorie counts.
• Communicate issues to the appropriate staff in a timely manner and complete required reports.
