Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for part-time shifts at Physicians Regional Collier in Naples, FL. You will assist patients with menu selections, deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timeliness in a healthcare setting.

The role requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Training is offered; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu options for allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean workstations.
• Support infection control policies and procedures within the department.
• Assist dietitians with patients on modified diets and monitor intake as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly and follow department procedures.
• Prepare required daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per Morrison Healthcare policies.
