Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Part-Time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for the Ochsner Lafayette Ortho location in Lafayette, LA. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements and timing.

Weekend hours are required. Prospective candidates should have prior food service/diet experience, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, and work within HIPAA and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies/restrictions.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly; retrieve trays on schedule.
