Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) for a full-time role at the Miami Valley Hospital North in Englewood, OH. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour and requires customer service experience and the ability to work 40 hours weekly with rotating weekends.

Job duties include helping patients with menu selections, assembling meals, and ensuring meals meet nutritional needs while adhering to safety and sanitation

Qualifications

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and additional selections.
Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
Comply with regulatory standards (federal, state, JCAHO) and HIPAA policies.
Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and keeping work stations clean.
