+ Location: Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital - 200 Fleetwood Drive, Easley, SC 29640. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Part-time; days may vary, 7:00 am to 1:30 pm and 1:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: A food handler's card is required.

+ Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.29 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, providing services such as helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the proper temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with menu understanding and collaborate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Coordinate with culinary staff to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately and timely, and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, infection control policies, and sanitation procedures.
• Support dietitians in monitoring special diets and patient nutritional needs.
• Report problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required reports as per policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
