Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time role at Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX. Prior food service experience is preferred; schedule varies with days and hours.

Training is provided and uniforms are supplied. Responsibilities include assisting patients with menu selections, assembling meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met, and delivering trays on time.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection; retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work stations.
• Assist dietitians as needed, including monitoring patients on special diets.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
