We have openings for part- and full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATES (DIETARY AIDE) positions at Cleveland Clinic - South Pointe, Warrensville Heights, OH. Online applications are accepted only.

Shifts vary and include some weekends and holidays. Shifts: 6am-2pm, 12pm-8pm, and 3/4pm-8/9pm. More details provided upon interview.

Qualifications include hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Dietary Aide experience is a plus. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work in healthcare facilities, assisting patients with menu selections, meal assembly, delivery, and tray pickup, ensuring safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate meals at appropriate times and temperatures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu options for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays timely.
• Comply with regulatory standards, HIPAA, and infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring special diets and calorie counts.
• Communicate patient concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
