Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates to support meals for patients on assigned units. You will help patients make menu choices, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure meals meet timing and nutritional requirements.

The role involves collaborating with nurses and dietitians, following HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies, and contributing to a caring, high-quality dining service that supports patients, families, and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP and sanitation guidelines while handling food.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
