Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring immediately for full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) positions at Penn Highlands Dubois, PA. Work on assigned units to assist patients with menu selections, assemble meals, and ensure timely, safe delivery. Flexible schedule; weekends may rotate.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by reading menus and coordinating with nursing to follow nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu options respecting allergies, preferences, and restrictions.
• Assemble meals to each patient’s selections, manage tray tickets, and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow regulatory standards (federal/state/JCAHO) and HIPAA policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines in handling food, cleaning workstations, and breaking down tray line.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets and calorie counts.
