Compass Group USA's Morrison Healthcare unit is hiring for a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at Penn Highlands Dubois, PA. This full-time position features a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends and a pay range of $13.50–$18.00 per hour.

In this role you will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and help ensure nutrition requirements are met. You’ll work closely with nursing, dietary and care teams to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state and local regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining workstations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring certain diet restrictions and communicate concerns timely.
