Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) to work on assigned units in a healthcare facility in Leitchfield, KY. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meal trays, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of service.

This role requires previous healthcare experience and involves full-time and part-time schedules with rotating weekends. HIPAA compliance and safe food handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s selection, delivering promptly and accurately.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining sanitation.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
