Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) positions at Muhlenberg Owensboro - 440 Hopkinsville Street, Greenville, KY 42345. The role offers $13.25–$19.55 per hour, with AM/PM shifts and weekend/holiday requirements.

Previous related experience is preferred, and training is available. As part of the patient-care team, you will assist with menu selections, prepare and deliver meals, and ensure

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly, retrieving trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and facility policies and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor patients’ intake as directed by dietitians and communicate issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
