Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in Morehead, KY. You will work on a healthcare unit assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and supporting the dietary team.

Requirements include prior customer service and food service experience; ability to lift up to 100 pounds; and a schedule from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm with rotating weekends. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to selections; retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with federal/state/regulatory standards including HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
