Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY seeks a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time schedule from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and safety.

Previous customer service experience is preferred; you should be able to read, write and understand documents in English, have basic computer and math skills, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills are required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
