Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Memphis, TN is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide). You’ll assist on the unit with meal selections, tray assembly, delivery and pick-up, ensuring accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Prior patient dining experience is preferred but training is provided. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, basic computer and math skills, and strong English reading/writing.

Qualifications

• Previous patient dining experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure meal orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for dietary needs and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines; maintain cleanliness of work stations and tray line.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
