Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service, food service, or hospitality experience.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies and dietary restrictions; accommodate cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly for each patient.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation policies; maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
