Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Fort Mill, SC. Roles include assisting with patient meal selections, assembling and delivering trays, and ensuring nutrition standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals per patient menu selections and retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Comply with federal, state and local health regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Assist dietitians with patients on restricted diets and monitor intake where needed.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with sanitation procedures and department policies.
